Employee Paid Leave for Expanded COVID-19 Vaccine Access

The Employee Paid Leave for Expanded COVID-19 Vaccine Access Ordinance is an urgency ordinance that temporarily requires private Employers in the unincorporated areas of Los Angeles County to provide paid leave for Employees to receive COVID-19 vaccine injections. Employees covered by the Employee Paid Leave for COVID-19 Vaccine Access Ordinance began earning paid leave effective January 1, 2021 until April 14, 2023 (14 days after the expiration of the COVID-19 local emergency.)

L.A. County Required Workplace Posting

Every employer shall post a written notice in a conspicuous place at every store located within the unincorporated areas of the County where any employee works. The notice must be prepared and made available electronically by DCBA informing employees of the Employee Paid Leave for COVID-19 Vaccine Access Ordinance and of their rights under the ordinance.
