Here’s what you need to do next:
If you own rental property or a mobilehome park in unincorporated LA County, you may be required to register your property with the LA County Rent Registry and pay registration fees annually.
To register your property, follow the steps below:
- Create your account.
- Use your Property Identification Number (PIN) to find your property. (Contact our office if you do not have your PIN)
- Update your contact, property, and unit information.
- Submit your registration.
Not a landlord? Not a problem. If you are not a landlord and occupy the property as your primary residence, notify our department by emailing rentregistry@dcba.lacounty.gov to be removed from our mailing list. Please make sure the full property address and/or Assessor Parcel Number (APN) is included in the email.
