One in every ten LA County residents lives in an unincorporated area — but many don’t realize it. An unincorporated area is a community that is not part of any incorporated city. Instead of having its own city government, it is governed directly by Los Angeles County. Certain protections against rent increases and evictions apply only to renters who live in these areas.
Join a free informational workshop to learn if you live in an unincorporated area and about protections against unlawful rent increases and evictions that may apply to your housing situation.
