Current Status of Cannabis

In February 2022, the LA County Board of Supervisors approved a motion to develop and implement a commercial cannabis licensing program for unincorporated Los Angeles County and approved the OCM’s recommendations for a regulatory framework. OCM, in collaboration with other County Departments and stakeholders, will work to start this work and create a strong equitable program. Until we can fully implement a licensing program, commercial cannabis activity is still not permitted and we are not accepting applications at this time.
